Homework 9/14/10
Write a well-designed, 4-7 sentence paragraph in response to the following prompt.
“Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone, just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had.”
My response to this quote is that I do not agree with it. Although some people have more advantages than others, I feel like the line "all the people in this world" is an exaggeration. Even though i disagree with this quote I understand the point that the speaker was trying to make, which was that no one should critize anyone else if that person or people haven't had the same advantages and opportunites that you have had. To me critizing someone who has less than you is unfair and mean.
